Cost:  $25 Athlete - Includes Red Bull, Refreshments, T-Shirt;   

NOTE - Para-Athletes Entry Fees are covered by the Ocean City Swim Club

$15 Non-competitor Social {Requested Donation} - Refreshments

Ages:  14 - 104 . {Parents required to attend for youth under 18}


  1. Distance Swim - .5 Mile

  2. Prone Paddleboard - 400 Meters {Heats}

  3. Surf Lifesaving Swim - 300 Meters {Heats}

  4. Ocean Heroes Challenge {Relay or Solo} - Swim 300 Meters - Paddle 400 Meters

***** NOTE - All events will accommodate para-athletes


  • This is a competitive event whose primary mission is to enrich our ocean community by bringing together professional ocean lifeguards, swimmers, triathletes, paddlers and para-athletes of all ages around the multiple disciplines of surf lifesaving sports

  • Athletes can take part in as many or as few events as they like

  • Para-athletes will have the opportunity to compete as individuals and in teams with other athletes

  • Paddle and shorter swim events will be run in heats of 6-12 with top finishers advancing to a final for each event

  • Limited to 50 Competitors

  • Event will use 10'6" and 12' Race Boards, but competitors will only compete against those on the same board type.
    Don't have a board?  We have an assortment of both for athletes to use.

  • Heats will be grouped by age and anticipated ability with finals that merge all groups

  • Refreshments and beverages included in the entry fee (Available for purchase for spectators)

  • Event will follow ISL Surf Lifesaving Competition Guidelines
