The Ocean City Swim Club's Bruckner Chase is the Head Coach for the City of Ocean City Adult Fitness Swim Program.

Overview:

  • Sessions are designed to welcome all levels of swimmers with times and distances adjusted by lane for varying abilities. 

  • Workouts range from 1,800 - 3,800 meters. 

  • Swimmers should be able to swim at least 8 lengths of the pool without stopping to take part.

  • COACHED SUNDAY WORKOUTS TAKE PLACE OCT - MAY

  • THE SUNDAY POOL TIMES ARE AVAILABLE ALL YEAR BUT ARE NOT COACHED IN THE SUMMERS AND EARLY FALL.

  • INTRO TO POOL WORKOUTS:  These sessions are designed to help swimmers learn the terms, etiquette and skills needed to get the most out of a US Masters style structured group workout.  Instruction will introduce concepts like intervals, sets, drills and circle swimming etiquette to get newer swimmers ready to join longer and larger group sessions.  There will be technique instruction, but these are not learn to swim lessons.  Distances in sessions will be 1,000 - 1,500 meters.  Sessions are on the 1st and 3rd Sundays through the winter from 8:20 - 9:00 AM.
